SingleCruzer34 Posted February 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Hey! I’ll be cruising alone in April and looking for excursions or activities that would be fun alone. (Really not interested in making new friends.) I’m interested in the caves or kayaking, as well as beaches with mostly adults. Suggestions greatly appreciated! JohninDC Posted February 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Cozumel Bar Hop tour should be perfect for you - a tour around most of the island including stops on the east side (great scenery) and a few funky beach bars. Check out the reviews on line. kflmeyer Posted February 9, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2018 My husband and I just took the Cozumel Bar Hop last Thursday - it was fantastic! There were 34 participants; 25 in one group, and the rest of us booked as couples. We had so much fun! The east side of the island is incredibly beautiful, and very few people were there. I think there were 8 ships in port that day, but it never felt crowded. I highly recommend the excursion! cozumelbarhop.com

Crustybucket Posted February 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 11, 2018 I would look into the Pirate Pub Crawl. It starts at 1100, and lasts 3 hours. You get lunch, 4 libations (beer or hard alcohol...price dependent) a pirate bandana (yours to keep) a sash to wear (goes great with the shorts !), a visit to a Tequila shop, (you can purchase) , a visit to a Chocolate shop (you can purchase also), and you are returned to a taxi stand in the central area where you can eithe return to the ship, or venture out on your own. You are escorted by either 2 or 3 "pirates", and it's great fun. Their objective is to show you the side of Cozumel that the cruise lines don't want you to see....it's safe (saw a couple of "cruise crew" bars/pubs) and you get to see the other areas of the city. (They do NOT take you into unsafe areas!). Price is $1000 MXN, or $1300 MXN, depending on either beer or hard. (roughly $52 - $55 USD)
14Terry Posted February 11, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 11, 2018 For the beach, I suggest Nachi Cocom for a quiet, relaxing day. Sent from my iPad using Forums
