Kids sail free cruise?

Was wondering if anyone knows if Carnival ever offers specials where kids sail free?

Not a common sale and when they did the price was jacked up for parents.

I could be wrong, but I think the better sale might be the "more the merrier" one where 3rd and 4th guest in the cabin have a reduced rate. We got a great deal with that one once.

MSC, kids sail free and NCL have third and fourth guest specials. Not so much of any specials on Carnival.

I agree that mor the merrier rate can be a good rate. I find that you need to look at the final complete charge to see if it’s works well for your family regardless of line or sale.

That would be a great way to ensure the ship was packed to the gills with kids! Maybe for select sailings they could do this... in the summer when school is out. But hopefully there will also be cruises where kids are few and far between.

They ran it last month, not sure when it will pop up again. They do these sails based on trying to fill capacity.

When the booked cruise fare is contingent to a minimum occupancy requirement per cabin, cancellation of one or more guests in a cabin may cause a re-adjustment of the guests booked cruise fare according to the prevailing and eligible rate. Final payment in full of the recalculated fares for all remaining guests in a cabin is due by 11:59:59 p.m. on the eve before the start of the cancellation penalty period. We have been sailing Carnival for 13 years and have never seen an offer where children sail free.

Seen Kids sail free on Royal but never on Carnival. Usually get OBO.

The only time I’ve seen (and taken advantage of) REAL kids sail free promotions where the cruise line doesn’t jack up the fare for the 1st and 2nd guest have been on Holland America and MSC. Thanks to these promotions we sailed for considerably less than on Carnival on these two cruise lines. We are sailing again on MSC this year in big part because our kids will be sailing for free again.

 

In all of my years of cruising, I’ve never seen Carnival offer such a promotion, and even though Royal Caribbean and Norwegian have offered their own version of a kids sail free promotion, the savings were not substantial because you’d have to pay a higher fare for the first two passengers in the stateroom.
