Katomerikaf Posted February 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Has anyone got an up to date drinks menu for the Celebration? Do the waiters now serve wine with the meal in the main dining room or is it still served by the sommeliers ?:tropical-drink::tropical-drink:
sistermags Posted February 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Hope I'm not taking over your post.I see Celebration is full board and the other ships.....Discovery 1and 2,and Explorer are all inclusive. Why should this be if they are all Marella cruises in the Caribbean? Katomerikaf Posted February 13, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted February 13, 2018 It always depends on the ship as to the drinks that are or aren't included. You can sometimes get AI as part of you deal for free if you book at the right time or at a reduced rate.
Vitalsign Posted February 13, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2018 The Discoveries have always been All Inclusive from day 1 and so will Explorer and us regular Marella cruisers have seen that reflected in the prices. Dream Celebration and Spirit have never been All Inclusive unless it has been offered as an incentive - usually to those booking early Although past Dream cruises in the Caribbean didn't appear to offer it however early you booked. Eventually when the latter three ships go out of service I believe all Marella ships will be AI as standard I got a free AI for this January even though I only booked in August last year You need to do a dummy booking and see if it's free
sistermags Posted February 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Celebration has a choice of full board or all inclusive when you log in to the booking.

Buster 52 Posted March 15, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 15, 2018 For the Dream we had had to tick the AI option even though it was "free"
Rare Jim The Scot Posted March 15, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Buster Thats the case if you book online Maybe shintaro booked via a TA like we do where they do everything for you

skioncruises Posted March 17, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 17, 2018 It'd be great if anyone can help with the original question! Hi Katmerikaf Sorry, don't bother with drinks menus but can say that when we were on Celebration in August the prices/selection did not seem to have changed since our previous time 2 years before Also, in the MDR service was Wine Waiters and the meals by Waiters and Assistant Waiters. I did notice on a menu that has been put on here recently that beer has gone up by 20p and can drinks supplement by 5p. (DH is beer drinker and, as I don't drink and only have cans, I have to stump up supplement). Sorry can't help with wine etc. Think Dream and Celebration are being run differently from the Discoveries.
