TV channels on Silhouette

While cruising sometimes I like just hanging out in the cabin and watching some TV. Does anyone know what channels the TV gets on the Silhouette? Do the channels come in good on a sea day? Are there movie channels?

 

Do they show movies in the theater where shows are ever? Is there anywhere on the ship they would show a movie?

Yes, the channels are clear and there are movies.

They are probably different than you get at home, more bbc and less espn sports center.

There are usually movies shown in celebrity central but it’s not that big of a screen.

We were on the Silhouette week before last. There were several news channels, but only a couple of channels for tv shows/movies. There were also 4 movies offered for free--on demand.

That's quite a cut back - I'm sure we've had about 10-12 free movies on demand plus about another 5 or so swapped in the second week.

The tv choices on X are pathetic. Other than BBC, CNN and International ESPN, you won't find "normal" programing or a whole lot of movies. (unless you want to pay) We occasionally would put the tv on later in the evening and we actually laughed at the stuff they showed. Super violent and bloody or Godzilla and Robot type " C" movies were the theme for our cruise on Eclipse in Jan. ;p A few days into the cruise, they started showing the movies they showed in the small theater. But they didn't run often.

One night we saw an old old "Castle".

 

Princess does such a better job. Not sure why X can't upgrade...well, if you're in your room, you aren't spending money.
