Equinox Mattresses

I have a bad back and need a firm supporting mattress. How would you rate the Mattresses on Equinox?

They will give you the "egg crate" mattress topper. It isn't much help for a bad back but better than the regular mattress. You can ask for a piece of plywood to put under the mattress.

 

You can always get chummy with the captain and hope he will offer to share his TemperPedic mattress.

I too need a firm mattress. I had ZERO issues with the bed in our cabin during our New Years cruise.

I was not fond of our mattress and our friend in another cabin had terrible back issues. Thankfully he brought is Flexeral which made the pain more bearable. He even tried getting different pillows. I asked for a topper and got a duvet which helped some, so I would say they were firm. I didn't get an egg crate but we were in a regular cabin, maybe only the suites and spa get the egg crates.
