KSGal Posted February 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2018 I have looked through previous posts and I still haven't figured this out. If anyone has sailed on the Freedom in the Summer to Belize, Rotaan, and Cozumel, can you please tell me- does the ship stay on Galveston time? Our itinerary says we will be in Belize 8am-5pm, Rotaan 7am-6pm, and Cozumel 9am-6pm. I'm just not sure what that means in terms of trying to plan excursions. Thank you in advance for any information!
Pops, Esq. Posted February 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2018 Galveston/Freedom will be on Central Daylight Time. Cozumel will be on Eastern Standard Time. (same as ship time) Roatan and Belieze will be on Central Standard Time (one hour behind ship time) Itinerary should be in ship time. https://www.timeanddate.com/
ProgRockCruiser Posted February 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2018 Ship time for closed loop sailings are almost always the time of the home port. So the ship will always be on Galveston time, all Fun Times times will be ship's time, and all port arrival/departure times are given in ship's time. If you book an excursion with Carnival, it will be executed in ship's time. If you book a third-party/private excursion, you need to check what time they reference!
