I miss onion soup in Chops

When we cruise we enjoy dining in the specialty restaurants. Our favorite is Chops and our last several cruises have been on Allure of the Seas. I love the lobster bisque and the Mushroom soups, but the others I am traveling with, won't try either one.

Before the latest change, onion soup was served and it was far better than in the MDR. If there were any chance to have it brought back, my traveling family would love it.

Does anyone else miss it?

I do! The French Onion Soup and the scallops were my favorite appetizers at Chops. I also loved the dessert that came with coconut ice cream. Really miss these choices now that they're no longer on the menu.

I love onion soup and always felt the version at Chops was below mediocre. The onions were never caramelized enough and they didn't have the proper broilers, I guess, to really make the cheese crispy. It was always just kind of a slightly melted glob sitting on top. This comes from multiple experiences on Allure, Harmony and Oasis.
