I’m looking to book a cruise on the Gem. I don’t have a free cruise through CAS but they offered me 20 % discount. Will I still get the free drink card for the casino since I’m booking through CAS? Calling them tomorrow but thought someone may have the answer. Thanks!

As long as you book through CASS, you get a card is what has happened in the past.

Yes. You should still get the appropriate freebie based on cabin category. I booked the Getaway through CAS last December and received the freebie.

I changed my regular booking to a casino discounted one...kept my original booking number and my price discounted 20 percent just last week. All my perks stayed the same [emoji4][emoji171] one happy cruiser!

I would phone, I recall reading a recent thread where someone got a discounted room and were surprised that they did not also get a drink card.

 

I tried to search for the thread, no luck. I recall the title was something like...... “Wt*f no drink card with CAS”.

 

I struggle with searches on this board, maybe you will have better luck if you want more info before you phone tomorrow.

You should receive a drink card, however it may be for the lowest level drinks, and only used in the casino. The wine that I was able to get with this card was horrible, I actually paid for a better brand.

We always book thru CAS since 2014. Whether it was a comped room or just a 10-20% discount, both DH and I have received a free drink card for use in casino, even if we picked the UBP as a free at sea perk. This is great, because we get bottled water in the casino for free and do not need to pay the outrageous price for a water package.

I sailed in November on the epic.booked through cas with a discount and I received no drink card like I had in the past.

I met a few folks on my last two cruises (Dawn in January and Gem in February) who did NOT get drink cards with their discounted cabins.
