ladybrockett Posted February 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Am considering booking a Norwegian Fjord cruise sailing on The Azure in May. We are looking at either fixed dinning at 8.30 or anytime dining, but i have a couple of questions if any one could help? On anytime dining are you in a separate dining room and not the MDR ? and which is the nicest? Can you choice your table size in anytime ? If you can choose fixed dining can you change ? Many thanks in advance.
Thejuggler Posted February 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2018 There are three MDRs. You will be allocated one of them. Nicest is subjective. In Freedom you can choose your table size, but may have a wait. You may be able to change, but don’t bank on it.
Axelf Posted February 20, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Fixed dining tends to be in the Oriental and freedom dining in the other two - as the juggler says, which is the nicest is subjective. Yo can choose your table size in freedom dining, but particularly if you want a table for 2, you might have to wait (depending on the time you choose to dine) but generally this is not too long Sent from my iPad using Forums
hooked-cruiser Posted February 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Anytime dining on the Azura is on deck 5 beside the coffee shop. Never had to wait too long for a table for 2. If busy they give you a pager and never waited more than 10 minutes.
Josy1953 Posted February 20, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Anytime dining on the Azura is on deck 5 beside the coffee shop. Never had to wait too long for a table for 2. If busy they give you a pager and never waited more than 10 minutes. There are 2 freedom dining restaurants on Azura, on decks 5 & 6 midships. Depending on the time that you dine your waiting time will vary at busy times.

janny444 Posted February 22, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2018 Hi....if you mean which is the nicest decor wise....they are very similar if not identical and if you mean nicest food served...it is the same menu in all the MDRs so the only difference is that one is fixed dining times and the other go when you want between 18:00 and 21:30 in the two freedom dining restaurants.
