AC2 Posted February 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2018 Is there a special area for eligible passengers with priority status? We were in the HAVEN out of Miami a few years ago and it seemed like total confusion, with every passenger migrating to the same entrance for check in and security, will it be the same for NYC? Thank you Dennis

AlexandNessa Posted February 23, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 23, 2018 Not sure why someone said it's worse. In NYC, you can also go through the priority security line. It's usually a banner sign that says CAS, but flash your Haven paperwork and you can use that line too. It's to the right of the regular security line. Instead of winding your way to passport checks, it's a short, straight line. This is as of late December. Miami didn't have a priority security line, at least not in October. Rare BirdTravels Posted February 23, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 23, 2018 Is there a special area for eligible passengers with priority status? We were in the HAVEN out of Miami a few years ago and it seemed like total confusion, with every passenger migrating to the same entrance for check in and security, will it be the same for NYC? Thank you Dennis Dennis, If you are in the Havens, the Havens check-in is about 1/2 into the terminal. There is seating in the check-in area. If you are on a big ship, there is also an overflow area just outside. You are escorted from the Havens check-in to the ship. It works the same in Miami. This all assumes that you show up around 10:30 and are checked-in by 11:00 when Havens boarding starts. If you show up during general boarding, you WILL be mixed in with other passengers making their way up the gangway.
