Entertaining on Balcony for Sail Away

We have a nice size balcony on the Ecstacy and would like to invite our friends to our room on the first day for Sail Away or right after. I am bringing our allotted champagne to carry on so we can share that, but I would love to have a few munchies. I read the cheese trays can not be delivered to your room the first day. Any suggestions on what I could get from the buffet to bring back to our room. Can one get an entire pizza from the pizza pirate ( and how easy is that going to be on day one) or should I just gather my own cheese tray like plate to bring back? Any suggestions of maybe what some of you have done in the past would be great! Thank you!

Sure, you can go order a full pie from the pizza place and carry it back to the room. Same for anything you find at the Lido buffet.

Bring some Ritz crackers and nuts and get some fruit and cheese from the buffet. Also you could order some liquor and sodas and/or beer from the funshops to be waiting in your room when you arrive...if you wanted a little more drink variety. 😁 Bon voyage!

I hope to one day book a balcony big enough to do this. I agree, bring crackers from home. Since Lido always has various cheeses during buffet time that would be perfect. Just grab it all when you board and put it in your fridge in the room.

Liberate whatever items you would like from the buffet. Never saw the advantage to bring back cold pizza to cabin

Never heard you can't get the cheese trays delivered (why?). I know for a fact you can get the canapé sandwiches delivered because we've done that twice for sail-away.

Contact the fun shops and ask how to order for a sail away party, I am sure you are not the only one that has done this.
