Buying CruiseNext certificates

On eBay. Is this a legit thing? Anybody done it?

 

I have an inside cabin booked for June, but I'm already paid in full. I can use one $250 certificate? Can it sit on my account as a credit to pay service fees, or to function as OBC? Or I've heard reports of NCL sending a refund for $250 of your payment...

Never done it but I'd be wary of it. How do know he hasn't sold the same certificate to 10 other people?

Make sure to immediately transfer the certificates to your account.

Bought 2 for our upcoming cruise, the guy was great. Put together a 3 way call with ncl and transfered typosthe certificates on the spot! Saved us $180.

As far as I know you won't be able to use it on a cruise you have already paid off.

Cruise Next certificates are only for deposits on a cruise.

 

You might be fortunate to get it applied to your already paid for cruise, but that would be an exception.

Someone here on CC just posted having some for sale. We have bought from Ebay and we've also bought from someone here at CC.

They are totally transferable, so i don't see what the problem would be. I was able to apply them to a Cruise that was already booked.
