The easiest acress to reef snorkeling is West Bay.

It looks like you might be sailing Carnival? If you want snorkeling close to the dock without needing transportation, go to the beach at Mahogany Bay. There is a pier at the far end of the beach with ladder access to the water. Snorkeling is okay there. If you want the best snorkeling, go to West Bay. But it's not close - you'll have to take an ship excursion, taxi, or private tour.

You'll be at Mahogany Bay which is fine for a beach day and is free ... but for better snorkeling you'll need to go to West Bay. Sort of depends on how important good snorkeling is to you. :)

What is the best way to go to west bay? On own by taxi or an excursion? Is there good snorkeling right off the beach at west bay? Where would I go?
