Just booked a 14 night and 3 night B2B using FCD for each. Received 75$ and 15$ OBC and was happy enough. :)

On checking my FCD letter I see a 17 night trip would have given me 125$. However, 17 nights is not available as a stand-alone cruise option. Anyone have any experience of combining B2B cruises to get higher rate OBC?

....the higher rate is only available if you can (and do) book the entire cruise as a single cruise.

You get the OBC for what you booked. If the cruise was not available as a stand alone OR if you booked it as 2 separate cruises, you get the OBC for the two separate cruises.

Thanks. Prob should have been on the ball and asked Princess for single booking! Would have saved me a FCD for an emergency cruise too! ;)

It is always worthwhile to see whether a B2B is available as a single stand alone cruise. If it is, calculate whether it is better to book it as one or book as a B2B, looking at both the cruise price and the OBC you may be entitled to.

Thanks. Must br more patient and do my sums next time before panic buying. Though offset by getting double shareholde benefit anyway so no real dsmage - a few cocktails less for me!!! 🍸
