Sapphire Dance Bands?

We cruised on the Golden in 2001 and absolutely loved dancing to the band "Tito" in the Explorer's Lounge. Can anyone tell me if Tito is still performing on any Princess ship?

 

Also, what type of music is played in the varioius venues on the Sapphire?

 

We're booked on the 1/28/06 sailing of the Sapphire and are looking for ballroom/big band/swing type dancing - is there any available?

What a coincidence! We cruised the Golden in Nov 2001 and agree that Tito Cruz was fabulous! We always compare any cruise dance band to Tito! He was in the Wheelhouse when we were on the Golden.

 

We just got off the Sapphire 12/31. In the Wheelhouse Bar, Thelma's Trio and the Leon Nagasaki Quartet were playing and we enjoyed them both. Thelma's Trio was especially good for ballroom dancing--they played rumbas, chachas, swings, fox trots, waltzes, etc. In fact, we commented that they were probably the second best AFTER Tito. We heard Tito on our first Princess cruise in 2001 and were just on our eighth Princess cruise. Let me know if you Thelma is still there when you go and if you like her group. Have a great time!
