Chank vs Punta Sur

Chankanaab or Punta Sur??

Details: April on Carnival Breeze. 4 adults, a 13 yr old boy and a 9 month old.

Looking for: something to keep the whole group entertained. Lol.

Interests: live music, snorkeling (even though we've never been!), gorgeous beach, good food (and authentic!), lounging (hubby had knee surgery 6 months ago), shopping, culture. Need not include every single one of the mentioned interests, just giving ideas of what we like.

Bonus: food included (if that's an option at either). Even better if there is an "unlimited" choice so we don't have to constantly pull out money to buy food!

Also: Is it possible to do one of these parks and still go to the Mercado? Are they anywhere close to each other?

Chank should meet your needs - I've never been to Punta Sur.

Chank offers a beach, separate snorkel area, dolphin and sea lion shows, etc. If you book it through your cruise line it usually includes transport and all-inclusive food & drinks. Or you can grab a taxi (about $12 each way), pay the admission (about $20 per adult), and run a tab with your waiter for food/drinks.
