I am currently sailing out of Cape Canaveral on 4/28/2019, paying $409 pp, with ES. I have a casino offer for $373 pp. At the rate that I currently have I also have $50 OBC. What would you do? Keep the ES with the OBC or switch to the casino rate?

Will I still have price protection if I switch to the casino rate? What if it drops again, will I still be able to get the drop?

Yes, once you book under ES you always have the restrictions of the fare.

If the fare goes down again, you can match to any fare that you are eligible to receive.

After calling Carnival, it was better for me to keep it as it is. The promotion would drop me from an 8E to an 8C and then to go back to the 8E it would cost more and I would only be saving about $13. Soooo, I am gonna stay where I am. Thank you for your help.

The casino rate only applied to a particular cat?

They told me that it applied to my original cat, but I had a 2 cat upgrade done. I was really bummed, but hey, it is what it is. lol

You booked ES with a 2 category upgrade, but the casino rate only quoted only applies to your original cat?
