OBC for tours on land?

We'll be on a Y3C and wondered if our OBC can be used to buy excursions for the land portion of the trip. Thanks.

OBC can only be used on board the ship. If you want to do an excursion while in port, you can purchase the excursion while on the ship and use your OBC towards it.

Confirmed...OBC only good on the cruise part of your itinerary.

 

 

Y3C has only 3 sea days. You can probably find a ship excursion in Juneau like whale watching or a float plane Taku Lodge excursion that are worthwhile, OBC can also be used toward your gratuities, Pinnacle Grill, drinks, shipboard shops, etc. OBC from HAL will be applied first and what you receive from your TA may be refunded to you by HAL. Your TA should be able to tell you if you have any refundable OBC.
