Ravensbourne1960 Posted April 10, 2018 #26 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Don't get your hopes up. I just saw the guest soprano going there when I was on Crown and her French was atrocious. I'm sure Kate Gordon will butcher Habañera in Bravo as much as she did the other Carmen aria in Encore. Habañera?
beg3yrs Posted April 10, 2018 #27 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Currently on Sapphire. ...excellent service in dining room....excellent room steward...ship needs more air conditioning We were on the Diamond after a dry dock and had ac issues for the first week in our cabin. Hope the issue is resolved. Please keep us posted. Be aware that AC issues on ships are not necessarily due to dry dock operations. AC systems can be affected by something as simple as another cabin keeping their balcony door open too long. Generally all these ships have enough AC to handle anywhere they sail. tailspintom Posted April 10, 2018 #28 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Habañera? An aria from the Opera Carmen.
musicpro442 Posted April 10, 2018 #29 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Habañera? Sorry. Autocorrecting after the editing window doesn't work too well. Should be Habanera. But I'm sure after hearing "Les Tringles" butchered the night DW (who's French) and I heard it on Crown, "this soprano will add everything wrong but a tilde." -DW
tailspintom Posted April 10, 2018 #30 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Habañera? OK. I get the question, now. Sorry for responding with something you already knew.

In the case of the Diamond Princess dry dock, the air-conditioning issues were acknowledged to be as a result of post dry dock issues.
docmda Posted May 26, 2018 #32 Share Posted May 26, 2018 Considering March 10, 2019 Singapore to Rome or Southampton. Would appreciate feedback on itinerary/excursions. There appears to be a large number of "sea" days which would appeal to us as well.
