2005 All Star Smooth Jazz Cruise

Just wondering if there are some reviews out there that I've missed. I did not attend this event but would like to know how it went..the details!

Thanks vegout. And no cheshyrkat, this was not a Cruise Critic group. It was a performance by popular Jazz artists. I was wondering if any had went on this cruise. I'm surprised many on Cruise Critic were not aware of this event.

I think several individuals who post on Cruise Critic were bumped off this sailing by Carnival to accommodate this group and a couple of other groups that ended up sharing the ship. That may be why there are no reviews here...

We were on that cruise but not with the Jazz charter group, which included at least half of the passengers onboard. All of the jazz concerts and shows were not open to the public. There was a special jazz performance on the final sea day at the pool, which was great. The Jazz charter folks were a great group, and they did not bring many kids along. My only complaint during the cruise was we were limited to one evening show each night since the Jazz groups took over the lounges. We had an early dinner seating and the shows were not scheduled until 11:00PM or midnight.
