are the outside doors on the Pride metal. do I need magnets or sticky tape to hang posterboard on outside door

cabin doors are magnetic. if using a full poster board i would count on using several heavy duty magnets. with the door opening and closing it might slide down if not attached properly. i personally use the magnets with clamps.

You can use magnets or Command Strips but no adhesives, tape or glue.

Be sure to review Carnival's policy on door decorations, it has become a little more strict with items needing to be flame retardant. I have read many cases where people will decorate and then the crew has to take it all down or ask you to take it down due to fire hazards. Of course there are some that say they put up anything and it's fine. This may be true, nobody bothered them, but I would plan based on Carnival's rules that way you don't come back to your room from a great day to find all your stuff taken down and have it be a downer.

 

You can absolutely still decorate, just be sure it meets their standards. We plan to decorate on our July cruise as well!
