TV in the OV Cabin (Carnival Splendor)

Hallo! DH is asking if anybody noticed what kind of TVs are in the staterooms. He want to know if these are the kind where we can insert a USB drive at the back so we can watch some movies and that they actually work. When we were on the Miracle last December and tried the USB, it didn’t work. We are hoping the TVs on the Splendor are different. He doesn’t want to bring our laptop on our cruise. TIA.

I believe the input ports in the TVs are disabled. We usually bring an iPad to watch movies.

I bring a lap top and DVD's.

The Splendor had the same TV set up as the Miracle a couple months ago.

You can get a power strip with ports inexpensively.

I used my laptop and iPhone on the tv on the breeze 4/1/18 cruise. There is a work around I found on the internet.
