white night?

Does anybody know about a "white night" festivities/party on the Norwegian Dawn? Was just told that it is a pool deck party . Info, please.

That's mostly it. On the away ships it's in spice. If you show up early the staff is there doing face/body paint. They pass out glow sticks, necklaces, bracelets soon after it starts - so showing up late you probably won't get any. The rest depends on cruise director. One sailing they invited those who wanted to come up and dance with them on the stage, another time it was just his crew dancing for a short time.

 

Only been on away ships so no clue about the others.

Wear white if you want to be festive. If you are there at the beginning, you can snag a free glow stick necklace. They also have the light up glasses available for your drinks. The production cast dancers will come out and dance on the stadium levels by the pool for a few songs. If you like to dance/dance music from the 90s-today, this is the best night for it.

The Dawn party will have a more open, less crowded feel than that because it encompasses the entire main pool deck area and stadium levels. I only wished they had the Bimini bar open, but if you are generous during the week the waiters will seek you out so you don't have to wait for a drink at Topsiders.

It's a fun pool deck party!! Lots of dancing and flashing lights. The crew does a great job at entertaining. Also they pass out glow sticks and necklaces. Of course, wear white so you will "glow" or seem bright from all the lights.
