jamscckmc Posted April 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2018 Does anyone know what time the floating market closes? Is it right over the floating bridge.
bup1224 Posted April 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2018 It's to the left of the Queen Emma floating bridge, go all the way to the left after crossing the bridge and make a right. It has just recently- as in today - started to have boats back. Sent from my SM-G920V using Forums mobile app
bup1224 Posted April 11, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2018 Not sure when you are coming and how many will be back. I have seen it open later in the afternoon before all the boats had to leave and the market was closed for the past few weeks due the situation in Venezuela. jamscckmc Posted April 11, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted April 11, 2018 Please explain about how That affects the floating market?
bup1224 Posted April 11, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2018 Please explain about how That affects the floating market? It's political. The president of Venezuela closed the boarders there, which in turn led to this. There is alot more background to the situation in Venezuela that can be researched. http://curacaochronicle.com/politics/no-more-floating-market-in-curacao/ As stated, the boarders just reopened and the boats- hopefully- will be back http://curacaochronicle.com/politics/venezuela-abc-islands-renew-ties-ink-multi-industry-deal/ Sent from my SM-G920V using Forums mobile app
