SDI shore excursions

Going on SDI on Jan 8, St.thomas to St.thomas. Any shore excursions worth while, or worth the money? Helicopter ride to Monserrat sounds great but at $365 each!

The helicopter ride is fabulous - worth the money. If you have not done the Baths before - that is a must do. Illes de Sante is my favorite area - walk to the beach they recommend - it is a pretty good hike, but worth it. Snuba in Jost van Dyke is really fun - just make sure you have the correct weight belt.

Just got off sd 1

 

the snuba operator in jvd did not operate and linda did not know if he was going to return

 

water sports at jvd were pleantiful but hanging at soggy bottom bar by far the best

 

the baths trip was greta but make sure you can handle it physically

 

on our trip sd1 let us off on one side of virgin gorda (baths) and met us on the other by bitter end yacth club, the ride across the island provided exceptional views

 

bike riding at isle de saints was great, plenty of scooters for rent as well
