KCSungirl Posted April 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2018 Hello, I just returned from Cuba on the NCL Sky. I have written one of my "LIVE" reviews that may be of interest to you no matter who you chose to cruise with. I did have a bad experience with a tour operator and want to make sure I spread the word. Enjoy! https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2629040
rederob Posted April 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2018 Old Havana does not need a tour guide if you like walking as there are many full day self guided "walks" you can choose from and you are not locked in to any particular schedule or stops for food, drinks or other purchases. This one: https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/218248_f6d8f25b64b842b6a2ce0c8a36b2256e.pdf tells you about everything you will come across and covers the iconic sights - commence it at # 26. When you get to #1, then walk down Paseo de Marti to #67 for the journey back to your ship. Ideally download maps.me beforehand so that you don't get lost along the way - it's a great offline map app.
