katyjeka Posted December 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2005 I feel as if we owe so much to this board that we wanted to give back by giving our review. We have cruised before, on diff. lines, but will do no comparing. The Dawn is a beautiful ship, and although we were told it was a sold out cruise, we never felt crowded. There were many times when we wandered where everyone was at. We walked many decks w/out passing a person, and spent alot of time in empty hottubs. The biggest line we encountered was getting food from the poolside barbeque.(Although the wait there was never over 5 minutes!)Our 3 dd's had a great time. The kids pool was great and many hours were also spent there alone. When we did see kids, we never saw more than 5 or 6. We had connecting balconies, not mini-suites and found we had plenty of room. They opened the divider on the balcony and we enjoy the extra space. Food was both really good and just ok. We played bingo, 1st game was $39, won $225.00, 2nd game was $59, won nothing. REALLY enjoyed Bollywood, gambled very little, met alot of fantastic people. Oops, out of room will continue later! Happy New Year, Janice
