TIPS in the Casino...

Yes, I tip with chips.

When you buy a drink in the casino,a gratuity is already added. Usually that is enough of a tip. But an extra $ usually gets me better service.

I have the Drinks On US card most every cruise. When you get a drink from a wait staff then, the bill is $0.00, so no gratuity is added from the casino. So I always tip them with a $1 chip and they sure apperciate it. I usually have no problem getting a wait staff to find me and ask me if I need another drink.

Also tip your dealers at the tables. If you don't get noticed by the wait staff, ask the dealers and they will make sure you get one.

I tip in cash in the casino as I usually have DOU card. ($1-$2 per drink).

They know where to find me as I'm always glued to the same slot machine...LOL

On the last night, I'll tip a little more:D:D

I always tip the cocktail waiters in the casino, just like I do at a land based casino. And just like tipping at a land based casino tends to get the waiter back by your table quicker, it works the same way at sea. I always try to tip them in cash or casino chips so it goes right in their pocket, they still appreciate when you write in the tip on the receipt, but I think that buck or two you add on may get pooled.

Hi- The tip that you write in on the receipt does not get pooled. I do ask every cruise to be sure nothing has changed and many over the years has told me they prefer it that way. I think because it goes right into their bank account.
