Rare Jamman54 Posted May 20, 2018 Author #379 Share Posted May 20, 2018 Here are a few more mini golf views….. Patti made her way down to the cabin to begin unpacking and wait for the muster drill. I joined her a short time later. The alarm for the muster drill sounded right around 3:30. Our muster station was “H” which was outside on Deck 4 aft on the port side. A crew member must have seen me limping a little coming down the steps, so she directed Patti and I into Alfred’s where we could sit for the drill. We really appreciated that. The drill lasted to a little after 4pm. We were the first to be dismissed, so we decided to go back to our cabin to watch our sail away from our balcony. By the time we got back, the ship had already pulled away from the pier….. The Allure of the Seas would be sailing next….. The sail away from Fort Lauderdale does not take long at all. Here are a few sail away views….. To be continued……

Rare Jamman54 Posted May 20, 2018 Author #385 Share Posted May 20, 2018 Now that we were out to sea, I was perfectly happy to hang out in the cabin until dinnertime. Patti however, wanted to check out the shops so off she went. With camera in hand she descended one deck down to the Promenade on Deck 5. Seeing these photos now, it was amazing how deserted the Promenade looked at this time. I guess everyone was still partying out on the open decks! Patti started all the way aft.
