DEL871082 Posted May 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2018 We’ve booked inside cabins for our next cruise on Adventure. It’ll be our first time sailing in an inside and we are wondering about waking up since it’ll obviously be just as dark at 6am as at 3am. Does anyone know if there is a live feed from a mast or bridge cam that we can put on our tv so we can easily see whether it’s morning? That combined with a room service order for coffee should suit us perfectly. We can bring our daughter’s gro-clock as well but we have two rooms so that won’t benefit everyone. Thanks! wolfcathorse Posted May 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2018 on most ships there is a bridge channel. But it rotates from a map showing where the ship is to the view from the bridge. some ships have a separate channel, one for voyage info and one for the view from the bridge. Look around at Channel 40 and 41. On some ships it's Channel 17. You'll have to turn the volume down as both channels have background music. brklyn78 Posted May 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2018 I’ve heard that bringing a clock is really, really helpful in those rooms. Having the ambient light from the TV on all night might get annoying. It’s probably worth bringing a bedside clock (like a cheap alarm clock or something) for the adults room. time4u2go Posted May 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2018 There are phone alarm clock apps that can generate a gradual increase in light from the phone's screen starting (and ending) at a preselected alarm time. They even work in airplane mode.
