pappahbuttz Posted May 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2018 I have a question that I just thought of, and was hoping someone might know. I would love to record a go on the Zip line on the Seaview. I have seen some on Youtube, and was wondering, can I record it using my GoPro mounted on a Grip handle (with lanyard so it can't fall) or must it on either a head or chest strap setup? Thanks in advance!

Rare steamboats Posted May 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2018 DH used a chest strap setup and actually we had to argue quite a bit to get this allowed. I don´t believe that you are allowed to use just a grip handle. We first asked one of the staff at the landing area whether a chest strap is o.k. and he said yes. DH geared himself up and we went up to the entrance. One of the guys said no way and the other said no problem. It took about 10 minutes until we were allowed to go. You can see the video here - it´s not a GoPro but a 360° camera by Ricoh. steamboats
