Has anyone stayed at the Day's Inn Bahia Cabana Beach Resort in FLL?

I've read so-so reviews, but they are supposed to be under new management...can you share some of what you didn't like about the place?

It's old, dirty, run down and falling apart... It's just another tired old dump awaiting the wrecking ball. It's even worse after Wilma as the old place was battered pretty good and it doesn't appear as if they've done much in the way of repairing the damage. New management isn't going to help, it's too far gone IMO. It's in a great location, but it's long past it's sell by date and time to replace it with something new.

TrentS~Thanks for the info, although it's a real bummer because I am staying there precruise next week. It is only one night but I may try to cancel and rebook elsewhere if I still can.

I cancelled my reservation and rebooked at Extended Stay America on 17th...I feel much better now and it saved me money. Thanks Trent...your help is very much appreciated

The Bahia Cabana Resturant and Bar food is great! Overall, reminds me of an island beach bar. The hotel?????? ????????????
