Explorer suites on the Viking River ships?

Can anyone tell me if they’re really nice or just kinda cheesy because it’s a longship instead of a ocean ship?

I actually thought it was great. Large living room, huge shower, the wrap around balcony and plenty of storage space. Had fresh fruit and pastries every morning in room, with a bottle of champagne.

Viking has a video of the suite. I think the question was whether or not it really looks like the video! Glad someone chimed in.

What do you mean specifically by "cheesy"? That is kind of a vague description and it makes it very hard to figure out what it is that you are trying to find out about the Explorer Suites.

You really need to look at the Viking website photos & videos. Decor varies from ornate Uniworld style to clean, open Viking style. Tastes vary so you need to make the call. Of course the rooms look as they're depicted on line.
