robmac330 Posted May 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2018 Whenever the fine folks at the CruiseNEXT desk tell you it is, provided you visit them by 9:00pm on Embarkation Day
tokidoki Posted May 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2018 would also love to know. Previously, the tour was the first sea day, usually the next day in the morning., on my previous cruises:)
Aldeya Posted May 13, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2018 Just from Escape. The Platinum tour was on the first sea day at 9:30 am for our first group. They had a second group scheduled to go after our tour. You had to register at CruiseNext counter the day of embarkation. Great tour, very interesting theater backstage, galley, and the laundry. Those people working in the ship's laundry are REALLY work hard even with all the equipment and technology.
Rare mking8288 Posted May 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2018 ... Platinum tour was on the first sea day at 9:30 am for our first group ... Thanks, nice to know that they changed/adjusted the time to NOT conflict with the CC Meet & Mingle, which was typically held at 11 am on the Breakaway - and the BTS tour people would not move their complimentary tour from 10 am to 9:30 am to accommodate both. Booked on the Escape and this would allow us to fit both "event" into our Sea Day's schedule when it's our turn. Gem also did it - move the BTS tour to Sea Day #2 or morning of Day 3, thus, help assured better attendance & participation. Any efforts at all, to offer the (largely) symbolic gesture (i.e. a welcome abroad form letter in the stateroom) to provide (limited) conciege services for Platinum/Plus members on the ship ... understood that they are swarmed with large # of Haven guests that they are obligated to cater and attend to, first & foremost ?
