buying cigarettes on NCL star

I was wondering if when you buy cigarettes in the shops on the ship can you take the cigarettes with you , or do they hold it until the end of the cruise.? like the booze? . my friends went on princess and said that they couldnt have the cigs until they got off .??? i dont remember this happening to me on celebrity or carnival... is this so for NCL???? just wondering ,

You take the cigs with you. Its only alcohol that NCL holds.

Buy them the first day on board.

They do not restock...at least the ships sailing NY..if they run out...that is it;)

I agree tat you should buy them the first day. I was lucky to get them on the second day and I never saw them restocked. They did not have a huge selection on the SUN,though.
