Anytime Dining

8 days on the Vista last week, we did YTD.

We went 4 out of 8 days, (Steakhouse one night, Late night in Curacao another, Burgers the other nights :-)

Did not like our servers the first dinner. Just no life to them.

Switched and had a great team the next dinner and requested them the remaining dinners. Friends by the end and a nice tip.

We use YTD now that our boys are older (teens). I preferred early dining when they were young to maximize camp and keep them on their normal schedule, I also liked having a waiter who could have milk and fruit ready when we arrived. But now, it is easy to allow for later port times and to simply pick a time and place to meet for dinner. We prefer the flexibility now that they are older.

On embarkation day go to the main dining room look at the menus for the week. Book your table for your time in the main dining room or a specialty dining room for the week. So then you are set up as you wish to.
