Jondriver67 Posted May 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2018 It’s while since I’ve sailed P&O and I see the alcohol policy has changed. Anyone got any feedback on how strictly it’s being enforced? I’m not looking to abuse it but would a box of wine which is 2.25l between 2 adults allowed through? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
happy v Posted May 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2018 Yes, we've done it twice. No problems.
tassietravellers Posted May 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 19, 2018 Yes, we've done it twice. No problems. I'm interested too, was that in your luggage or carry-on?

happy v Posted May 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 19, 2018 First time in hand luggage in case we were asked about it. Second time just packed it in the suitcase.

tartanexile81 Posted May 19, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 19, 2018 We boarded in Southampton in February and the security staff on the scanning machines told us it wasn't their job to check on alcohol This was just when the new policy was introduced. Also the staff make no connection between what you have in your luggage then take in your hand luggage. The emphasis as far as I can see is in ensuring people aren't carrying on crates of beer or wine
