Sent from my SM-G930R6 using Forums mobile app With Uber it all depends on their demand based pricing. So check when you’re there. KirkWN737 Posted May 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2018 From what I have found, even with the demand pricing, I've never seen it be as expensive as the cabs in Anchorage.
WisCruiser2 Posted May 21, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted May 21, 2018 From what I have found, even with the demand pricing, I've never seen it be as expensive as the cabs in Anchorage. Thanks -- I was quoted $17 - $22 by Uber, and see an estimate of $22.50 (including tip) for taxi. I'm just wondering which service is better to use in Anchorage, as far as availability, wait times, etc.
KirkWN737 Posted May 22, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2018 Wait times are pretty quick downtown for both. The cabs are always so grimey and old in Anchorage. All the ubers I've been in have been a lot cleaner.
WisCruiser2 Posted May 24, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted May 24, 2018 We did use Uber (for the first time!) and it worked well. We had a great driver! The fare was around $18.50. Sent from my SM-G930R6 using Forums mobile app
