“Upgrading” a drink with the Refreshment Package?

I’m thinking of getting the Refreshment package this time around vs the Deluxe as I’ve cut back on the amount of alcoholic beverages that I consume. I get the Diamond drinks in the evening so to me the Deluxe won’t be worth it. However, I Know I’ll probably want a real cocktail (frozen or otherwise) once a day. Does anyone know how that might work to turn a virgin cocktail into an me with alcohol?

Thanks for the reply. $9 for a shot is by no means cheap but not totally unreasonable either. If I’m only getting one a day that makes sense for me vs getting the Deluxe.
