Scorpio41 Posted May 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Does the Saphire Princess have any European sockets as well as the American ones? Where are they and is there enough surface clearance?
hooked-cruiser Posted May 29, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Unfortunately not. However the top shelf where the old style TV used to be has a double US point. We took a US/UK convertor and then a small 4 plug UK extension lead and plugged all of our appliances into it. It worked well and was never unplugged by the cabin steward. It is also out of the way. Also as a key card is not required to enable power in the cabin anything on charge will stay on permanently. (Albeit shouldn't be left alone)
GweninTX Posted May 29, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Secret one under the bed!!! We use it with a converter for our CPAP machines with an extension cord! We pack both in our luggage. Keeps us from running cords across the room! Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Mapu Posted May 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2018 Is this a European socket or American? All outlets are American. I am not sure what a converter costs but you might be justas well buying a mini-strip that fits American outlets.
jlp20 Posted June 1, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 1, 2018 You can depend on at least 3. Bathroom (low amp use only like shaver), double socket by phone/desk and behind TV (TV and fridge plugged in there. In all our cruises, we only found one "extra" socket, so don't depend on finding one.
