Sabrina28 Posted May 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2018 Hello !! I hope everyone is well. I’ll be visiting Barbados in September . Does anyone have any recommendations on the excursions I MUST abosutley do when I’m there ? If so , can you also provide me the tours name and company ? I like adventurous/cool/educational/once in a life time excursions. Affordable helps too. Also, I would like to try local restaurants and food . Does anyone know what there traditional dishes are ? And where is the best place to eat it at ? (Local spot only) Thank you in advance !!!
JohninDC Posted May 31, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2018 Swimming with the turtles is a must when you visit Barbados - you can spend $$ to take an all day or half day catamaran tour including lunch, drinks and other stops, or take a quick boat ride from one of the beach clubs along Carlisle Bay. BoatYard Beach Club includes the boat ride to swim with the turtles with their admission/chair rental/"free" drink/taxi back to the port package. btobey Posted June 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Flying fish is a specialty of Barbados. It's mild like tilapia and available everywhere. When we were there 5 years ago (not on a cruise), our favorite things were going on the Segway tour on the northeast part of the island and seeing the green monkeys at the Barbados zoo.
