Carnival Gift card refund question

Hi,

 

If I have a Carnival Electronic gift card and say I use it to purchase a shore excursion and then canceled the shore excursion before my cruise date. How do they refund the gift card amount, do they just load it back to the Gift card itself or have some sort of credit in their system?

A new card will be mailed to you. I just went through this. I finally emailed to follow up and I just got a new card on Tuesday, I canceled my excursion 3 weeks prior to Tuesday.

If you don't see it within 7 days, I would follow up with them.

 

This! I actually tried going through my TA first, wasn't successful so I contacted Carnival on my own and in no time, I had my Carnival gift card.
