RCI Cruise to Carnival at Port Canaveral?

Can you exit a RCI ship and then walk to the Carnival terminal at Port Canaveral? We are thinking about taking a short Carnival cruise after our RCI Oasis of the Seas back to back. We are fairly fit couple in our 50's who would have a couple of rolling suitcases. If we would have to take a taxi will that be difficult given they will all be waiting to take folks farther?

No, you will need taxi, Uber, Lyft. Not walking distance.

Uber would probably charge $5 or so. They could pick you up at Grills, next door to the cruise terminal. This is an easy thing to do.

Walk next door to Grills, have a leasurely breakfast and then call Uber to take you to the Carnival Pier.
