WestCoastFlyer Posted June 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2018 We are on the Scandinavia & Russia cruise on the Eclipse starting 18 August from Amsterdam. In Helsiniki and Stockholm it looks like we could dock in several different places. Helsinki could be Hernesaari (LHC & LHB) or West Harbour (LV7& LMA) and Stockholm could be Stadsgården, Frihamnen, or Värtahamnen. I checked the normal sites that show ships in port, but they just seem to indicate Helsinki or Stockholm. Does anyone know how I can find out which specific port we will dock at in these cities? Also, someone posted in our Roll Call that they heard a rumor that in Tallin we might have to dock at an older terminal outside of the city as the Serenade of the Seas, Arcadia and Regal Princess are also there and using the newer cruise ship terminal. Anyone else ever hear of this?
TeaBag Posted June 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2018 Looks like you're in luck in Stockholm as you dock in Stadsgarden. Thar's where we docked in 2015 and it is so convenient. if you are interested in seeing the Vasa museum which is awesome, all you have to do is get off Eclipse as early as you can and follow the red line which will take you to the HOHO boats. On the first trip of the day they sail counterclockwise arriving at the Vasa before it opens. We were just about first in the door of the museum and enjoyed looking at everything with few people around. By the time we left, an hour or so later, it was standing room only. We were able to walk to Gamla Stan from the museum. Really enjoyed our day there. http://www.portsofstockholm.com/vessel-calls/ Didn't go to Helsinki. I hope you dock in Tallin where we did, as you can walk to the delightful town. There were only 2 ships in when we were there.

Looks like the Vasa Museum will be easy to access!!
