Yes, when you complete online check-in you can enter the credit card then.

I believe you can do that while filling out your "check in" info in cruise manager on the Carnival site.

I agree. It always makes me feel a little better to see an answer confirmed.

If you know which card you’ll be using, you can change it now online. It’ll save some time at boarding.

You can always change it when checking in on embarkation day, or, even on board. Changing it online before you leave is the least painful option.

You may want to check that it actually changed to new card. I recently did the same thing at a hotel but days later when I checked my statements, the hotel showed up on the original card and not the one I switched to. I should have been more diligent to check for accuracy

I was looking on the Carnival site and I can't find where to do that. My cruise is paid in full all I see is the link to print my boarding pass.
