Birthdays on the Celebrity Solstice

Hi I will be taking my family on an Alaskan cruise on the Celebrity Solstice at the end of June. 2 people in my 10 person party will be celebrating birthdays (one 4 and one 34). Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do in advance to make these birthdays special? Will there be the possibility of having a birthday cake at one of the restaurants? Thanks very much!

Quietly tell the Maitre'd and your waiter BEFORE the date of the birthday. depending on the ship, birthday people will get a candle in their desert and waiters will gather around them and sing Happy Birthday. Or, You can order a whole birthday cake, and pay for it, usually where they sell candy & wine, often the gift shop. But order a whole cake when you board, don't wait until the last moment. Waiters will again sing happy birhtday and don't tell anyone a cake is coming!
