Sass4 Posted January 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2006 Anyone know if this is a good room or has anyone been on the Upper deck? I'm a little worried being so close to the elavator. Thanks
stlrboo Posted January 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2006 Its just over the back end of the casino, but the elevator, or associated people noise, will be no problem.. :p

cheshyrkat Posted January 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2006 I don't think your cabin will be affected too much by noise from the elevators. It looks like a nice location. Staterooms above it and the casino below it. The only possible noise issue would be the casino. I've heard others complain about it, but mostly on the other side of the ship above where a performer is stationed. I was in 6321 and that was fine...but not quite where yours is! Maybe someone who's been closer can help more.
mrdood Posted January 4, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2006 We were closer to the main and atrium elevators than you are, never bothered us at all!! You will have a great cruise!
Sass4 Posted January 4, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted January 4, 2006 Ok, I'm a light sleeper and will take your(s) word for it. I'm getting really excited. Disappointed we aren't going to Cozumel though.
cheshyrkat Posted January 4, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 4, 2006 I usually bring earpugs just in case there's a noisy area near my cabin...but only had to use them when I was sharing a cabin with someone who snores.
toothchick2000 Posted January 4, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 4, 2006 I also bring earplugs any time I vacation, just in case. I had cabin # 6401 on The Liberty abd the only noise we heard at night was screaming "yay"! The teen club was right below us and everytime a new kid would enter the whole place full of teens would scream "yay". One of our family was a teen so that's how I found out. The first night I thought it was the casino. It didn't bother me so much, I only used my earplugs a time or two. I was so exausted by the days activities the noise didn't keep me awake. once I hit that wonderful bedding I was OUT!
