Elite Laundry

First cruise was on the Diamond Princess in 2005 and we were in a full suite. Had a nice blouse my wife loved come back from the laundry that would fit a size 8. At the time she sent it out, the blouse was a size 12.

 

We have had our whites come back grey. If the ship has a lot of Elite passengers, it may take 2-3 days to get your clothes back .

Have also had bright color T-Shirts come back faded and greyish. If I had to send anything nice out I would have them do their version of dry cleaning and hope for the best. Would do my own laundry.

I wish that some limited amount of "free" laundry tokens were an option rather than sending out laundry. No, $6 per load is not going to kill me, but it does seem that limited tokens would be a reasonable alternative to sending out.

Wish they had slightly bigger laundry rooms on board but me thinks they would rather we spend the money with their service. But I would also love some free laundry tokens. Maybe when and if they ever have an additional level that can be one of the perks. LOL
