Elbow Beach Resort and Bad Weather

We are leaving on July 8th for Bermuda and have reserved through Resorts for a Day the Elbow Beach Day Pass for July 11th. I keep checking the Weather Channel and it says Thunderstorms 80% chance.

 

Can anyone tell me if it does rain, is it like the Caribbean and rain for a little while and then clear up?

 

Thanks for any info you can give me. Tickets say rain or shine, so hoping for the best.

When it rains it is often a short shower. Weather forcasts for Bermuda over five days out are poor predictions unless a hurricane or tropical storm is headed for Bermuda. Weather Channel and Accuweather forcasts are notoriously bad for Bermuda weather as they use an algorithm. Your best bet for Bermuda forcasts is the Bermuda weather service as they are located on the island. Notice that they don't publish forcasts that far in advance.

Charles thank you. You had helped me previously with a question regarding number of ships in port. I thought we'd be going to Horseshoe Bay but it was agreed to try a different beach.

 

I will keep my fingers crossed for a sunny day and check the weather as you've suggested.
