uber v. car rental?

looking at a cruise out of Canaveral, flying into MCO. Is there a preference between renting a car and taking an uber to our hotel in Cocoa Beach? And then, to get to the port, not sure if our hotel has a shuttle, but are ubers available there as well?

Uber is available in PC/Cocoa Beach. You'll probably pay a bit more total using Uber from MCO to your hotel and to the port compared to typical one-way rental costs.

 

All of the car rental agencies there offer free shuttle to the port, so it is easy to return the rental car the morning of your cruise and ride their shuttle to the port.

 

Uber is convenient, rentals are likely cheaper - your call! ;)
